Digital Culture in a Vintage Location

Once a year, in July, our judging team selects the BEST FILMS OF THE YEAR and screen them in the awesome place called UZINA FOTO. It’s a cultural space adapted in an abandoned factory. The interesting thing is that this factory was producing film for photo and video cameras before the digital era started to grow. Till 2004, Azo Mures was one of the biggest film production factories in the world, alongside Kodak and Fuji. The ‘rolling ideas’ annual event lasts 7 days and includes a lot of activities: short film screenings, conferences, digital museum and exhibitions, workshops, street art, video mapping shows, music concerts and DJ live sets.
